Kenyetta Middleton is a little girl who approached me and Melissa Wade during our Caare Inc Day Of Community Service in Durham on Saturday. Scared and unsure, she asked us if she could sing on the radio. We said yes. She amazed us.

Tru Shares: Gil Scott Heron Lecture and Poetry Slam
Prior to the Gil Scott Heron event on February 5, Heron will conduct a lecture in the Carolina Theatre’s Connie Moses Ballroom from 5:30pm – 7:45pm and will conclude with a Poetry Slam.The Slam will feature Da Bull -vs- Da Nam.
