Tru Review: Legion (2010)
Legion stars Paul Bettany as a rogue angel named Michael who comes to earth to protect an unborn child who maybe man-kind’s last hope. The movie has some decent fight scene’s but in the end they don’t amount to much. I feel like the movie could have been so much more. The movie also stars Charles S. Dutton, Tyrese Beckford and Dennis Quaid. The movie was not as good as I thought it would be.
The casting in this movie was horrible and I was a bit upset that Dutton and Quad would sign on to do a movie like this one. Once again, this is a movie that has failed to use of good actors like Dutton and Quaid to their fullest potential.
In the end, Legion is a Christian-themed movie, zombie-horror, Western type film with a whole lot of action. In saying that, this story was a bit unoriginal. If you’ve seen Terminator and The Seventh Sign then your have seen this one before.
Legion is one of those movies where if you wait to rent it you would be better off. Don’t waste your money.
