After listening to the song. I was wondering was he talking about him and Lisa Marie, I saw an interview where heard she had to let his fate take him. Could that fate been the drugs?

I think Michael Jackson was such a wonderful performer and entertainer. He was a very troubled soul and was surrounded by those that enabled him to continue with his downward spiral. I wish all those that were talking that he was their brother and how much they loved him were there to intervene and help him.

Thanks, Big Tru. There are so many mysteries about MJ. Now that he's gone (although his music and images live on), we will never be able to solve those mysteries -- not that he would ever have allowed us to, anyway. As I listened and read the lyrics, I wondered how his parents might have fit in this. Mystery, mystery.

wow that Demerol interlude had me warped, but it is actually beautiful somehow, it is like the peace that occurs between the chaos that is the rest of this song. This is some real **** ! I guess maybe he's saying that the meds were the only thing that he was able to rely on and trust in. Everything else seems to either be a common criticism of him or an expectation of him, I think you are on to something Tru, this seems like it is in fact a song about Michael himself. I am glad you sniffed out this story and blogged about it.

Coincidentally, I actually liked the song Blood on the Dancefloor, but never bothered with the entire EP. He talks about escaping the world in Blood too, though not via drugs, but via dancing. "To escape the world I got to love this simple dance, then it seems that everything is on my side" i think is how it goes

Wow, thanks for sharing. I love the energy of the song, but it's very disturbing. I wonder what is the meaning of this song?
