I first met her while driving my Aunt to work. We have always listened to 103.9fm. I remember wanting so eagerly to sing the birthday song...And Sonya gave me that oppotunity! She said that I woke even her up that morning! The while singing with the Durham Community Choir I had my opportunity to meet her face to face! It was a blessing. I ran into her more and more when I worked at Golden Corral and while going to Christian faith Center Church. Everytime she called me her lil brother in Christ. Well...I'm fully grown and will miss her very much. My Aunt moved to Atlanta and was pleased that Sonya moved down there the same time. But when I broke the news of her passing - even my Aunt grew solemn. We all have make leave when God calls us home. But won't it be good to meet the same Angels on earth that we'll see in Heaven. Well our Angel has gone home - and we see her again!! May God continue to bless her family, Friends and our memories of that Angel! I will truly miss Sonya Hamm.
