AUDIO: New Janet offering Lacks

New Janet "Call Out."

Still a bit upset at the Greensboro Janet Jackson show cancellation last year, I continue to subscribe to the idea that would never see her live in concert. But I have to say that I was really happy to hear that Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis would be involved in the upcoming offering from Janet; pretty good news for fans of Janet.

Anyway I was doing some industry stuff this morning and found a new track from Janet called “Call About.” Words could not explain how happy I was to see it…to hear is a different story. Overall, the sound of this track is very ATL (nothing against the city that spawned great talent like Outkast, TLC, and JD himself) but I have to say that I’m not impress with it at all.
