McDonald’s World Children’s Day 2008
Today was a pretty good day. If you didn’t already know today is McDonald’s World Children’s Day. I hadn’t planned on going to the remote but at the last minute I decided to go. I had a pretty good time. There were a lot of kids that came through and even got a chance to meet the man that I can blame for some of my rolls and lumps, Ronald McDonald. Seriously McDonald is a great organization.
In 2007 McDonald’s World Children’s Day raised an estimated $15-20 million to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities® and children’s causes around the world. More than 100 countries participated in this unprecedented single-day effort to help children in need right in their own communities.
I defiantly support the countless ways that this organization’s program helps children around the world.
