Durham tops the Black Enterprise Best Place to Retire list
Durham, N.C., has topped the list of Black Enterprise magazine’s 20 best places to retire, based on quality of life, affordable health care and other considerations. In an upcoming issue Durham is featured in it’s annual list of “20 Best Places to Retire”. The other top seven locations – Charlottesville, Va.; Ann Arbor, Mich.; Nashville, Tenn.; Lexington, Ky.; Roswell, Ga. and Columbia, Mo. – also received the magazine’s best score for quality of life, which included housing prices, public schools, crime levels, traffic congestion and commercial air access.Click here to read WRAL Article
